Is Qsymia right for my child?

Understanding your child’s BMI

Body Mass Index (BMI) is a measurement that can help healthcare providers assess someone’s weight in relation to his or her height. For children, BMI is expressed as a percentile compared to the overall U.S. population of children. If your child’s BMI falls into the 95th percentile or greater, you should contact your healthcare provider.

Use the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) BMI Calculator for Children and Teens below to calculate your child’s BMI. Please note that the calculator is for informational purposes only. Your results will not be stored.
